The Bunny...came to our house...oh my!
We always make sure that the holiday focuses on Jesus and his resurrection...we do lots of creative things to incorporate the story of Jesus' death and resurrection into the days that lead up to Easter Sunday. But we also love to let the kids have a little fun with the bunny too. They never get huge baskets of stuff from us...but they do always seem to manage a visit by the bunny and some goodies to boot. We had talked the night before and they decided that they would tell the bunny not to bring as much stuff but instead take it to the other little kids who lost their homes in the tornado a couple days ago. So they wrote the bunny a note...and...he wrote back.
My favorite part was listening to them talk about it...Jaeden thought he got the candy mixed up, until his sister set him straight. They got a movie and popcorn and candy from the bunny..they also got 2 movies from Aunt Loraine and Uncle Jay (which they picked out the night before) and the whole afternoon was spent relaxing and watching their new movies.
